Key Responsibilities

  • Develop & maintain timely and accurate financial statements & reports
  • Optimize the financial reporting environment in a complex multi-entity structure
  • Manage cashflows and prepare cashflow forecasts
  • Prepare annual budgets with support from Director of Finance
  • Plan, coordinate and complete annual year end close process (Notice to Reader and Review Engagement Financials)
  • Support the Director of Finance with reporting to leadership and senior stakeholders
  • Oversee Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions
  • Oversee Payroll function
  • Oversee compliance with tax reporting
  • Develop & document business process & policies, maintain & strengthen internal controls
  • Support management of Finance team
  • Support growth initiatives at the Senior level
  • Oversee success of Finance Business Partner initiative

Experience & Requirements:

  • 3-5 years accounting & reporting background. Experience in a multi entity environment an asset
  • CPA preferred or in pursuit of designation
  • Experience with Sage ERP, ADP & other financial reporting systems
  • Experience managing & developing teams in a positive work environment
  • Proven experience in driving efficiencies and supporting process improvement
  • 5 days a week Monday – Friday
