For the party-goer who likes to start their celebrations while the sun’s up and continue well into the night, the Longhorn patio is the place to be for the Whistler American Long Weekend. The prime location at the base of Whistler Mountain, the Longhorn Saloon is perfectly situated to get some turns in the mornings, apres-ski in the afternoon, and party well into the night. A little Après Lager for an après ski is surely the right way to start an evening of indulgence! Oh, and should we mention, live music, and champagne guns? Yes, that’s a real thing, come check it out.

Tapley’s Turns It Up

The Dance Floor – Garfinkel’s
Garfinkel’s is the place to party over the Whistler’s American Long Weekend Weekend. As Whistler’s biggest dance venue, the staff sure know how to put on a good party, and Garfinkel’s is the go-to for locals no matter the night. Start your weekend early with Local’s Night on Thursday, the longest and we think liveliest locals night hosted in Whistler. With DJ’s spinning all weekend long you can be sure this place with be bumping every night!

Buffalo Bills have a legendary cage on their dance floor – and while we’re not condoning any crazy possibilities that might pop into your creative mind, we have certainly seen some interesting shapes being thrown in there, and we dare you to have a go. Fridays are for the ladies and feature a lineup of Top 40’s hits to get you grooving well into the night.

Take a day to nurse your hangover by heading up the mountain for a dose of fresh alpine air! Please only ski and ride if you are sober – the mountain operations staff will pull your pass if you are intoxicated. Besides – you wouldn’t want to miss a powder day, would you?
Black’s Pub – The Après
Sometimes referred to as Longhorn’s little sister, Black’s Pub, was adopted into the Gibbons Whistler portfolio in 2020. This two-level gastropub features unparalleled views of both mountains. Serving lunch, après, dinner, and late-night, Black’s Pub is a staple in Whistler.

Moe Joe’s – The local dance bar
