Although Martin Luther King day falls on Tuesday, January 21st, we’ll formally kick things off Friday January 17th through Monday, January 20th, 2020 with every kind of party your heart could possibly desire.

Legendary Longhorn
For the party-goer who likes to start their celebrations while the sun’s up and continue well into the night, the Longhorn patio is the place to be for the Whistler MLK weekend. The prime location at the base of Whistler mountain, the Longhorn is perfectly situated to get some turns in the mornings, apres-ski in the afternoon, and party well into the night. A little Après Lager for an après ski is surely the right way to start an evening of indulgence! Oh, and should we mention, live music, and champagne guns. Yes, that’s a real thing, come check it out.

For the sports enthusiast who loves to party, check out the events happening for the Whistler MLK Weekend at Tapley’s. This homey bar is popular for those that like a good meal with friends chased by a round of darts or drinks around the outside firepits. With pizzas and a rotating selection of beer on special, Tapley’s is the place to be to watch your favorite team with friends and celebrate the after-party.

As Whistler’s biggest dance venue, the staff sure know how to put on a good party, and Garfinkel’s is the go-to for locals no matter the night. Start your weekend early with Local’s Night on Thursday, the longest and we think liveliest locals night hosted in Whistler.
