How to make a Mexican Bulldog Margarita

The bartenders at the Longhorn Saloon and Grill at the base of Whistler Mountain are known for their Mexican Bulldog Margarita, or Bulldogs as we like to call them, and make thousands each year. Served in a mini pitcher, with an inverted Corona, they’re the perfect drink to grab when kicking back on the patio with mates and celebrating the epic day on the mountain you’ve just shared.

Recently we had a request by a UK based visitor wanting to know how he could make this legendary concoction home. Understandably, he wanted to keep living the dream and take the taste of his summer adventure in Whistler home, so we decided to send him this video to show him just how it’s done.

“I’ve just returned home to the UK after two weeks riding the bike park, whilst the main highlight was the park a very close second was your beergaritas (Bulldogs)! Would you be able to tell me the contents and how you make it? Would be appreciated as us boys are having a Whistler welcome home party!”

Great idea Stephen – we’ll gladly be of assistance when it comes to spreading the Whistler love!
